Auction Policy

This page explains how bidding, offers, payment, and shipping work for items sold through our live auctions. It applies alongside our standard Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy.

SECTION 1 - PLACING A BID

Each auction has a starting price and a minimum bid increment, both shown on the item's page. By placing a bid, you are entering a binding commitment to purchase the item at that price if you are the winning bidder when the auction closes. Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed.

All bids are placed and recorded in GBP (£), our base currency. Any other currency shown on the site is an estimated conversion for your convenience only; the amount actually owed is the GBP figure recorded at the time of your bid or accepted offer.

SECTION 2 - RESERVE PRICE

Some auctions carry a reserve price — the minimum amount we're willing to accept for the item. The reserve, if one applies, is not shown publicly during bidding. If the highest bid at closing meets or exceeds the reserve, the auction is won outright by the highest bidder at that price.

SECTION 3 - IF THE RESERVE ISN'T MET

If bidding closes without reaching the reserve, the sale doesn't happen automatically. Instead:

The highest bidder is invited to submit an offer at a price of their choosing, higher than their original bid. They may submit up to two offers; each new offer must exceed their previous one. They may also decline the opportunity entirely.

We review each offer and decide whether to accept it. An accepted offer completes the sale at that price.

If the highest bidder's offers aren't accepted (or they decline, or their opportunity times out after 48 hours), the same opportunity — up to two offers, at a price of their choosing above their own original bid — is extended once to the second-highest bidder.

If neither bidder reaches an accepted offer, the item is not sold through this process and may be relisted at a later date.

SECTION 4 - PAYING FOR A WINNING BID OR ACCEPTED OFFER

Once you win an auction or have an offer accepted, you'll receive an email with a secure payment link. Please complete payment promptly:

A reminder is sent if payment hasn't been received within 24 hours. A final reminder is sent after 3 days. If payment still hasn't been received after 5 days, the win is forfeited.

If a win is forfeited, the item may be offered to the next-highest bidder at their own original bid amount, with 48 hours to respond. Repeated non-payment may result in restrictions on your ability to bid on future auctions.

SECTION 5 - PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS

Discount codes and storewide promotions (including any percentage-off offers) do not apply to auction items, whether won through bidding or through an accepted offer. The final winning bid or accepted offer price is the full and final price for that item.

SECTION 6 - SHIPPING AND IMPORT CHARGES

All items are shipped from Belfast, United Kingdom. Postage is calculated separately from your winning bid or accepted offer amount, based on your delivery address, and is shown before you confirm payment. If you're outside the UK, you may be responsible for import duties or taxes charged on delivery — these are set by your own country's customs authority and are outside our control.

Each auction is treated as an individual order, and this applies to shipping too. If you win more than one auction, shipping is calculated and charged in full for each item individually, these charges cannot be combined or reduced, even if items are dispatched together.

SECTION 7 - AUTHENTICITY

Every autograph is obtained in person at a private signing session we organise directly with the athlete. Every item includes a Certificate of Authenticity with photo evidence and the exact signing location and date.

SECTION 8 - OUR RIGHTS

We reserve the right to cancel, pause, or void a bid, offer, or sale in cases of suspected fraud, a genuine technical error, or where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. We'll always contact you directly if this affects a bid or purchase you've made in good faith.
